All Fired Up – Our Passions And Concerns

In our worship on 14 August we noted some of our passions and concerns, the things we are fired up about, especially things our faith fires up in us.  Some things were very personal concerns and reflections, some were general hopes and dreams about the kind of world we want to live in, and some were things that we could get involved in here at Christ Church – these are listed below:

  • Care for the environment and creation
  • Charitable work
  • Helping with roles in the life of the church
  • Local church history
  • Music
  • Philosophy, debating and discussion
  • Photography and video
  • Prayer and Bible Study
  • Refugees, Migrants and Welcome
  • Sharing God’s love with others
  • Visiting the sick
  • Work with Vulnerable and Lonely People
  • Working with children

All of these topics are a concern or a passion of at least one person in the church.  Maybe their passion is also your passion, their concern your concern.  In the vestibule there are sign-up sheets for each of these activities.  If you have an interest in any of these activities, please put your name down on the relevant sheet(s) and we will see what we can do to get people together.
